Assays for Cellular Functionality/Viability and Mechanism of Action

Cellular Functionality / Viability Assay

ProliferStem

ProliferStem

ProliferStem is an ATP-based bioluminescence assay that is used prior to cell culture. ProliferStem detects cellular and mitochondrial integrity, whereas dye exclusion viability assays detect membrane integrity. ProliferStem can provide valuable information on whether cells will proliferate.

Mechanism of Action Assays

OxyFLOW™

OxyFLOW

OxyFLOW™ is a flow cytometric assay that detect oxidative DNA damage in cell lines and primary cells, including lympho-hematopoietic cells, MSCs and virtually of the cells detected using the LumiSTEM™ Platform. OxyFLOW™ measures the fluorescence intensity of an 8-oxyguanine adduct produced when DNA comes into contact with compounds that cause single or double-strand breakages. Using additional antibodies etc conjugated to different fluorochromes, the cells exhibiting oxidative DNA damage can be identified.
