The Colony-Forming Unit Fibroblast (CFU-F) Alternative

LUMENESC™ is an ATP-based bioluminescence assay platform for detecting and measuring the proliferative status of Mesenchymal Stem Cells and their cellular progeny.

The LUMENESC™ Platform is the second test system to be derived from the HALO® Platform. LUMENESC™ uses the same highly sensitive, non-subjective and fully standardized luminescence signal detection system to detect and measure MSC proliferation without manual counting colonies microscopically using the CFU-F assay.

LUMENESC™ is available for 3 different applications:

  • Basic and applied research.
  • Quality of control for MSC derived from bone marrow, peripheral blood and umbilical cord blood.
  • Toxicity testing during drug development and for enironmental agents.
