LumiSTEM

LumiSTEM™ - The Absorbance and Fluorescence Proliferation Assay Alternative

Absorbance proliferation assays such as MTT and XTT or fluorescence proliferation assays usually require multiple and sometimes complicated steps to obtain results. LumiSTEM™ is the easy, rapid, more sensitive and fully standardized ATP-based bioluminescence assay alternative to any absorbance- or fluorescence-based proliferation assay.

Fresh, primary proliferating cells from a large number of cell systems can now be obtained. In addition, many investigators used transformed cell lines and there is an increasing number of researchers that are now involved in different types of stem cell research using adult, fetal or embryonic stem cells. Some cells grow under adherent conditions, while others prefer non-adherent growth surfaces. HemoGenix® has developed an instrument-based, ATP bioluminescence assay platform for the wide variety of non-hematopoietic and non-MSC cells types available.

The different types of applications are too numerous to mention. However, the LumiSTEM™ Platform can accommodate virtually any type of cell system. You use your own culture reagents, growth factors and protocols. LumiSTEM™ provides the plates, standards and luminescence reagents.

If you are presently using any of the following cell types for your research applications, consider LumiSTEM™ as your proliferation assay.
