HemoGenix® Contract Research Service and Assay Kit Platforms

Prior to developing its 3 proprietary proliferation ATP-based bioluminescence platforms and a flow cytometric assay for detecting oxidative DNA damage to cells, HemoGenix® was using a miniaturized colony-forming cell assay, first developed in 1982. This assay is now called CAMEO™™ or Colony Assay Miniaturization and Enumeration Output. CAMEO™™ was the forerunner to the HALO® Platform. All testing platforms were developed originally for our contract research services and are available for this purpose. In addition, all Platforms have been further developed into assay kits.

The CAMEO™™-4 Colony-Forming Cell Assay Platform

CAMEO-96 STD CAMEO

The CAMEO™-96: The Standardized Colony-Forming Stem and Progenitor Cell Assay Platform that combines the power of instrument-based, ATP bioluminescence proliferation assays to standardize the colony-forming differentiation assays.

  • CAMEO™-96 Res for research applications.
  • CAMEO™-96 STD Quality Control Cell Potency Assays for stem cell transplantation and cord blood storage processing laboratories.

HALO Research Kit HALO SPC-QC HALO Tox

The HALO® Platform for the Lympho-Hematopoietic System

consisting of 3 separate testing platforms

  • HALO®-96 MeC (Methyl Cellulose)
  • HALO®-96 SEC (Suspension Expansion Culture)
  • HALO®-384 HT (High-Throughput)

LUMENESC

The LUMENESC™ Platform for the Mesenchymal Stem Cell System

LumiSTEM

The LumiSTEM™ Platform for Cells Capable of Exhibiting Proliferation that do not belong to the Lympho-Hematopoietic and Mesenchymal Stem Cell Systems.

ComparaTOX

ComparaTOX™ combines HALO®, LUMENESC™ and LumiSTEM™ Platforms into a single, powerful predictive toxicity testing system that allows agents to be tested and directly compared and ranked by their response to multiple cell types from different cell systems using a single ATP-based bioluminescence signal detection technology.

OxyFLOW

OxyFLOW™ for Detection of Oxidative DNA Damge by Flow Cytometry.

These Platforms are described in this section of the website.
